Privacy Policy

speedinvoices is built privacy-first: there are no accounts, and the invoices you create live in your own browser. This page explains exactly what that means.
What we store, and where
The invoices you create — your current draft and your download history — are saved locally in your browser using localStorage and IndexedDB. This includes the people and businesses you enter (From, Bill To, Ship To), line items, notes, your logo image, and your formatting and numbering preferences.
This data never leaves your device for storage. We don’t have a database of your invoices, and we can’t see them. If you clear your browser data — or use the “Clear all” button on the My invoices page — it’s gone for good, including from our side, because it was never on our side to begin with.
Generating the PDF
The one time your invoice data leaves your browser is when you press Download. At that moment the invoice content (including your logo) is sent to our server only to render the PDF, which is sent straight back to you. We do not store, log, or reuse the invoice content after the PDF has been generated — it is processed in memory and discarded.
Accounts and personal data
There are no user accounts. We don’t ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the tool. Any names or contact details that appear on an invoice are entered by you, for your own document, and are handled exactly like the rest of your invoice data described above.
Cookies, tracking, and ads
speedinvoices does not run third-party advertising and does not use cross-site tracking cookies. If we measure usage to improve the product, it is limited to anonymous, aggregate statistics (such as page views) and never includes the content of your invoices.
Hosting and service providers
The site and its PDF service run on third-party infrastructure (such as our hosting and CDN providers). Like any website, those providers may process basic technical information — for example your IP address and request metadata — in standard server logs for security and reliability. This is operational data, separate from your invoice content.
Your control over your data
- Delete everything: use “Clear all” on the My invoices page, or clear your browser’s site data for speedinvoices.
- Nothing to export from us: because your invoices live on your device, you already hold the only copy — download the PDFs you need.
- No profile: there’s no account to manage, deactivate, or request data from.
Children’s privacy
speedinvoices is a tool for business and personal invoicing and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
